Procedures for
setting a civil motion:
Please
notice all motions for 9:00
in Forrest County. To set a motion, please
send one copy of the motion along with a copy of the notice to P. O. Box 309, Hattiesburg,
MS 39403,
or you may e-mail them to Clarissa at ckelly@co.forrest.ms.us. You do not have to
call Jerra Runnels, Court Administrator, to set a motion. Please note that Clarissa Kelly, Paralegal/Deputy Court Administrator, handles the
Civil Motions. All of our set motions
are on the website. If you do not see
your motion set, please let Clarissa know.
**** Please note that all motions and
responses must be in our office by Wednesday afternoon before the Friday
hearing. If you do not have your motion
and/or response here, Judge Helfrich will not hear
your motion. DO NOT FAX OR E-MAIL ANYTHING OVER 10 PAGES TO OUR OFFICE. You may e-mail any motions and/or responses
to Clarissa.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF FEBRUARY 24, 2009: NO MOTION SUBJECT TO UCCCR
4.03 WILL BE HEARD UNTIL SEVEN (7) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER APPLICABLE DEADELINES

the following dates. Judge Helfrich has been appointed as Special Circuit Court Judge
in a number of cases, and those motions should also be scheduled on one of the
following dates.
